The greatest basketball season in the state of Alabama's history rolls into the postseason. Alabama is No. 2 among all states in NCAA Tournament teams with four and in NIT teams with four more. The total of eight in those two tournaments trails only California with 11. Of course, that gap would've been 10-9 had the NIT done the right thing and not uninvited South Alabama in favor of UC Riverside.
