The Tigers won the roughest SEC regular-season championship ever in a year in which a record 14 teams from the league made the NCAA Tournament. The Gators won the toughest SEC Tournament ever - with two NCAA 1 seeds and two 2 seeds reaching the semifinals - and look like the hottest team in the country entering March Madness.

Auburn earned the No. 1 overall NCAA Tournament seed by compiling the best resume from November to now. Florida received the fourth No. 1 seed, behind Auburn, Duke and Houston, much to the chagrin of Gator fans.
