Why not Notre Dame to the SEC?

Hey, a man can dream, can't he? Especially if that man grew up in Pennsylvania, attended St. Patrick's Grade School and Nativity BVM High School - BTW BVM = Blessed Virgin Mary - cheered, cheered for old Notre Dame and religiously watched the Sunday Fighting Irish football replays hosted by legendary broadcaster Lindsey Nelson.


Who was a Tennessee native and UT graduate who started the Vol Network and was the first voice of the Volunteers.


Notre Dame may be geographically and historically a Big Ten member in waiting, more recently and conveniently ACC-adjacent, a smallish, private, Catholic institution that might seem out of place among the "University ofs" that dominate the SEC, but they have more in common than you think. ...
